Personal project

The speaker “Vitruvio” is a project characterized by simple and geometric shapes: in a structure with the shape of cube is “suspended” a sphere, which is connected to the external structure through rubber thread along the diagonal.

The sphere represents the diffuser with two audio channels (high and low), which, when connected to any device (stereo, ipod, iphone, etc.), is able to transmit the sound, so the ball can move, because of the sound waves , giving a visual impression of the “movement” of sound.

The name “Vitruvio” comes from the shape, which resembles the fundamental principles of geometry and proportions, such as drawing the Vitruvian Man. The external structure can be made of solid wood or metal, and the ball can be made of metal or ceramic.
